Many of the challenges we live with are directly related to a misunderstanding of our relationship with nature.
Thought millions of years our human evolution has been intimately entwined with the land.
Over this time we have learned how to grow food by managing and developing crops according to our needs and the seasons.
More recently we have been bringing our great intelligence to producing food, but unfortunately, we have not brought our wisdom.
The land has become a commodity owned by vast corporations, treated with chemicals and fertilizers that denude the soil of the bacteria and fungi that make it rich and fertile. The land then becomes empty of nutrients and chemicals run-off into rivers and seas gradually poisoning them.
The challenge we face is that corporations are accountable to their shareholders to make a profit, but are not accountable to people to produce healthy, life-enhancing food.

One thing we can all do is grow our own food, in a small or large way. Then we both know what’s actually going into it and are also not supporting Techno Agriculture.
That way we begin to take back food sovereignty.
